Course Description - To further develop skills and knowledge in Travel and Tourism, building on the L2 course. This course is designed to help students take the first step into careers in travel and tourism industries: aviation, travel, tourism, museums, retail, wholesale and hospitality.
Possible Activities - This course aims to cover an introduction to the tourism industry and to provide scope for travel investigations, in particular, knowledge of destinations. The tourism industry topics cover things such as job roles and basic skills and attitudes required in these jobs, while the travel section requires you to investigate transport, accommodation, government regulation and attractions in various tourist destinations.
